Chris Miller, PhD, is Director of Azimuth portfolio company Nexaltis Minerals (critical mineral processing for semiconductors), Director of Azimuth portfolio company PureVolt Energy Systems (decarbonized electricity for data centers) and Partner at Greenmantle. Chris is author of Chip War: The Fight for the World’s Most Critical Technology was a global bestseller translated into more than twenty languages and winner of the FT Business Book of the Year Award in 2022. Chris is Professor of International History at the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a nonresident senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. Prior to joining Tufts, Chris served as Associate Director of the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy at Yale and led research at the Brookings Institution and Stanford’s Hoover Institution. Chris holds a BA in history from Harvard College, where he won the Hoopes Prize for outstanding scholarly work, and an MA and PhD in history from Yale University.
