Richard is a Principal with Azimuth. Prior to joining the Firm, Richard worked with Tailwind Associates, a local venture builder offering financial advisory to early-stage companies. He also previously held roles with Genus Capital Management in Vancouver and Wells Fargo in Calgary.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance from the University of Calgary where he graduated with distinction. During his time at the University of Calgary, Richard was a Fund Manager for the Energy stream on the UCeed Haskayne Student Fund (UHSF), a venture capital fund run by students and supported by leading investors and innovators across the Canadian ecosystem.
In his spare time, Richard is an avid reader, an aspiring triathlon participant, a fantasy basketball league champion, and a general sports enthusiast.
